This page provides answers to many of the questions you may have if you are new to podcasting.

What is podcast?
A podcast is a collection of audio or video content that's powered by subscription software called RSS. Just like a the newspaper automatically gets delivered to your home when you subscribe, a podcast delivers new content directly to you -- without you having to check on the Web site for updates.

How do I Subscribe?
To subscribe to the Woodside Bible podcast, you need a couple of items:

Podcasting software
There are a number of free programs that you can download to play your podcasts, we recommend Apple Inc's iTunes (see 'Useful Links' below).

Modern Web Browser
Many of today's web browsers support RSS feeds directly and will allow you to subscribe to the Woodside Bible podcast by providing the URL for the RSS/XML feed (see below).

Most software will ask you for the URL of the podcast to which you'd like to subscribe. We have provided the links to our podcasts below, click on the link and copy the URL that appears at the top of the new page. Note: The iTunes software will not prompt you for the URL but will instead list the available podcasts in a directory on their site. In iTunes, simply do a keyword search for "Woodside Bible" in the podcast directory, and all available Woodside Bible podcasts should show up.

What do I get when I've subscribed?
When you subscribe, you can go directly into your podcast software and have it search for new content. All the latest featured audio or video content from the Woodside Bible will automatically get downloaded for you. You can then choose to listen or view the content on your comptuer, or download it to a portable listening device for later viewing or listening.
